She has been a part of WHA for two years now and loves it more and more as time goes on.

Natalie Rhone

Mitchelle Ackah
Director of Service
Mitchelle is a junior majoring in Biology. For her, it’s about the little girl out there who is scared of the changes her body is going through and has no idea what to do or who to turn to. She thinks about the woman out there who has been shamed for the normal things their bodies do. Periods are normal, and no one should be allowed to feel otherwise. She loves that WHA tackles period poverty not just through giving out period products but also educating and having deeper conversations with people on solutions that could help with eradicating period poverty. Mitchelle says she feels extremely grateful to be a part of this great organization!!
